Metabolic Typing

What is it, and what can it do for me?

After many years of training clients for both injury rehabilitation and fitness/weight loss, we have become increasing aware of the vital importance of the role food eaten has on a successful outcome.

You are a totally unique being. There is nobody who is exactly the same as you in appearance or personality. We accept this without question, what many people find surprising to learn is we are as different on the inside as we are in our external appearance.

We all have the same organs, tissues and enzymes, just as we all have eyes, ears and a nose but they vary significantly in size, shape, concentration and effectiveness.

As we possess a different internal environment from each other so it stands to reason that our nutritional needs vary also.

This individual and unique dietary demand is exemplified by the fact that two people can eat the same but only one puts on weight or why the Atkins diet works for some but not others.

Or the opposing spectrums of the native Eskimo diet of fish and blubber and the South Seas diet of fruit and grains. So, as with exercise, 'one size fits all' plans cant work.

The Advanced Metabolic Typing test takes these individual traits into consideration by looking at personal strengths/weaknesses in the Autonomic nervous system, oxidative systems and the Endocrine glands developing a personal optimum PH level.

Most people find through analysis of your body chemistry and stabilising normal PH levels they become fitter, healthier, stronger and are able to maintain a healthy weight and experience increased mental awareness and stabilised mood swings.

We are all biochemically unique, each of us having different genetically inherited nutritional requirements. Metabolic Typing seeks to optimise health by acknowledging these fundamental differences.

Metabolic Typing is not a "diet", it is information and knowledge based on your individual biochemistry.
